Building a Better Travel Wardrobe: Luggage Ensembles for Every Lifestyle
Princeton, New Jersey — “Building a Better Travel Wardrobe: Luggage Ensembles for Every Lifestyle,” is the focus of this edition of Travel Goods Showcase magazine. “None of us travel with a single piece of luggage,” says Michele Marini Pittenger, president of the Travel Goods Association. “At the very least we use two carry-ons, or employ a combination of checked bags and carry-ons — a collection of pieces selected to complement each other and smooth the journey. By creating our own ‘luggage wardrobe’ we can see what our individual travel needs are, and incorporate the styles that reflect our tastes.”
Travel Goods Showcase talks with several retailers, who recommend products that would be appropriate for five different types of travelers: single business woman; young male adventure traveler; family with kids; double income, no kids; and active seniors. This issue also highlights the latest in luggage and carry-on items.
Other featured articles in this issue:
- “Outfitting for Adventure: Doing More with Less” takes a look at the growing trend of adventure travel, and what products get the highest approval ratings from adventure travel experts.
- “The Travel Goods Show 2008 Preview” has all the information about the largest travel goods show in the world, to be held in San Diego from March 15-17, 2008.
