Travel Goods are Gearing Up for 2007

Princeton, New Jersey — Travel is on the rise, and the travel goods business is following suit. “2006 was our best year in the post-9/11 era,” noted Michele Marini Pittenger, president of the Travel Goods Association, “and the positive momentum will continue in 2007.”

The travel goods season gets its official kickoff at The Travel Goods Show in February 2007, and the November/December issue of Travel Goods Showcase is the pre-Show teaser for this special event. Exhibitors, press and other attendees will find registration information, special hotel offers and an exhibitor list and floorplan in this issue that will simplify covering the world’s largest travel goods show.

On the product side, the November/December issue of Travel Goods Showcase includes a weekend getaway photo feature, highlighting how this season’s savvy travelers will be equipped for the classic two-day escape. From the basic roller to upscale, handmade imported leather totes and duffels, there’s something for every weekend traveler.

  • Rollaboards suitable for overhead bins and car trunks alike
  • Classic duffels, in everything from upscale leather to tough, durable synthetics
  • Shoulder bags that double as in-town shopping haulers
