Peter Cobb, Co-founder of eBags.com, Receives 2009 Travel Goods Industry Award

March 3, 2009, Princeton, NJ — Peter Cobb, co-founder and senior vice president of eBags.com, the world's leading online retailer of travel products, has received the Travel Goods Association's 2009 TGA Award, the industry's ultimate recognition of outstanding professional achievement. Cobb was honored at the Opening Night Reception and Awards Ceremony at the annual Travel Goods Show on Tuesday, March 3 in Las Vegas.

The TGA Award is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the travel goods industry and the community. Ricky Schlesinger, the Chair of the Travel Goods Association's Board of Directors, stated that Cobb exemplifies the spirit and intent of the TGA Award. "Not only has Peter helped create a great company in eBags.com, but he has been a driving force in online retailing for our industry."
