TGA mourns industry leader Robert Ermatinger
This past Saturday, April 6, the travel goods community lost an industry leader and friend, Robert "Bob" Ermatinger. Bob, a resident of Toms River, N.J., was the former Executive Vice President of the Luggage & Leather Goods Manufacturers of America (LLGMA) and played an instrumental role in LLGMA/TGA's history throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Born in Chicago, Ill., Bob was actively involved in the Unity Church and S.C.O.R.E., and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia, in 1993 and his second wife, Sandy, in 2000. Bob is survived by three sons, John, Bob and Daniel; two daughters, Ceil and Barbara; his brother, Jack; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
