Heys USA Appoints National Sales Manager and Director of Operations

Travel goods pros bring exemplary backgrounds to new positions

MIAMI, FL — MAY 2010 — Harry Sheikh, president and CEO of Heys USA, a premier manufacturer of lightweight, hardside fashion luggage, today announced the appointments of a national sales manager and a director of operations.

Peter Doval brings more than 20 years of experience in travel goods leadership roles to his new role as national sales manager/Heys USA Group, making him ideally suited to compliment Heys USA's sales force, as well as directly contribute to the company's overall growth. He has held senior management positions with high profile companies, including buyer for the Burdines division of Federated Department Stores and regional vice president of American Flyer Travelware where he had responsibilities in corporate sales and product development.

"In our search for quality team members, we were looking for experience with deep solutions-based experience that could accelerate the growth of our brands as we continue to define the processes of growth," said Sheikh. "We are confident that Peter's track record of success in travel goods, combined with his experience as a buyer in motivating and directing his teams, will get us there."

Bryan Hucul is Heys USA's new director of operations. Hucul brings a wealth of relevant experience from Perry Ellis where he served as the director of wholesale and retail planning; Dufry International where he was the director of planning and logistics; and AUXIS Inc. where he was a consulting project manager.

"Bryan's manufacturing and retail management positions are a perfect fit for the expanded Heys USA brand development program," said Sheikh. "He brings a depth of organization and process management to our business."
